Once again, this beautiful, blessed season of The Birth of Christ the Savior has approach us. Each of us may have to face some good and also some not so pleasant time in this pass year. But all in all, I believed that the good Lord have held each of us and draw us through each day as we walk with Him. Each year, during this season, there is something special that touches my heart in a very special way; as I now know sometimes back 2000 and more years ago there was a holy child born as a Savior to redeem me from my sins, and yet I have not known about Him until just a few years ago.

Each year when I would post this scripture in Matthew 2:7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”

As my mind would ponder during the time and place when the Lord Jesus was born, there was no room for the Lord and He has to lay in a manger. Then I look at our time now, if He truly would come to us in this generation, Would we make room for Him or would we deny Him, turn Him down and go on with our daily chores and continue with all the occasional events because we are so busy and tired due to families are coming and we have no room in Our home for strangers.

These thoughts struck me as I upon upon it within my heart and spirit. In this generation and as crazy as it is now, I would probably turn Him away for fear of Him being a stranger and that He might be bringing potential harm or danger to our family and home because WE DON’T KNOW WHO HE IS. That would typically be our natural reaction if and when any stranger approach our home and/or our place of comfort.

The many chaotic and unpredictable things that are happening around our world and in our lives in this generation and in our recent days had put us all in a place where we would put up walls of protection to guard our hearts and spirit, our homes, and our families of any strange occasions or invasions of our comfort or our private family life that we try to protect dearly with everything within our beings.

Yet, even as hard as it is to accept what is happening in our world. I pray that we would take a moment to really reflect on the reason why we celebrate this special season. Let His Holy Spirit draw our heats and spirits to give us peace this day to celebrate and give honor to the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior, the Prince of Peace, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. In John 14:27 the scripture speaks of the peace that he promises us even in the mists of our turmoil “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Therefore, as we gather with our family and loved ones to celebrate this Special Season of the birth of our Savior Jesus the Christ, let’s us not forget the promises that He brings into our home and life to give us His love, joy, and peace and everlasting life with Him in heaven.

May God blesses each of you and your loved ones near and far this special season. May His love be pouring out upon each family as we gather to embrace the blessed gift of His Son Jesus the Christ and Savior of the world. Amen and Amen.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A BLESSED NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE
