We Can’t Justify God’s Word To Appease Our Sins. Opinion concerning the Catholic Church New Document of same sex blessing.
The document clearly says of the possibility of blessings for couples in IRREGULAR SITUATIONS and for COUPLES OF THE SAME SEX. What could be wrong in this statement? According to the Bible, the Word of God, there is no justification for the same sex “union”. It is an abomination before the Almighty God. He created a male and a female. He only blessed them, male and female.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:26-28 -KJV)
There is no such blessing mentioned for same sex couple in the Bible. Thus, there is no room for such a possibility whatsoever. No human authority, whether it be the pope or any church, holds the power to alter the truths stated in the Bible. God’s grace and blessing are bestowed upon individuals who humble themselves, confess their sins, and seek forgiveness.
The final decision regarding those who approach God rests with God Himself; no church or individual can assume the role of judge in matters of sin. Only God possesses the authority to forgive, and it is through the blood of Christ that our sins and iniquities are cleansed. Grace and blessing are the results of Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection.
As responsible stewards of God’s diverse grace, it is imperative that we refrain from misusing our positions and distorting the concept of God’s grace. Our calling is to proclaim the Gospel to those dwelling in darkness and the shadow of death. We are designated as the light of the world and are tasked with living according to the standards of the Kingdom of God. Our lives are meant to exert a positive influence on others.
This is a cultural war that as sons and daughters of the Almight God, we have to stand firm with the truth of the Bible, the Word of God, lest the wrath of God be upon us.
May the Spirit of God strengthen us to be witnesses to the Truth in love that brings forth salvation. Glory be to God forever. Amen.
