Who Is Our Messiah/Savior? Where was His origin?
Some may doubt His Messiahship, some may question the authenticity of His birth, to some they may dispute and debate the very day of His birth, and to others they may reject the very thought that He was ever the Son of God. As some even call it blasphemy because He say He is the son of God.
In their ignorance and stubbornness, they don’t know the truth of the mysteries of His birth themselves, yet they oppress and shuns others, they discourage those who believes, and hinder those who may want to know. They are the anti- Messiah, anti-Christ because they reject the message which the angels of the Lord had reveal written in the scriptures, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born “THIS DAY” in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” (Luke 2:10-12). (emphasizes put in for those who may understand the word “THIS DAY”, “for He says, “At the acceptable time I listened to you, And on “THE DAY” of salvation I helped you.” Behold, NOW is “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME,” behold, NOW is “THE DAY OF SALVATION” 2 Corinthians 6:2)
Luke 5:21 “And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
Many claims to know of a Savior, but yet they do not acknowledge His birth and How His Father, God, had sent Him into this world to be a Savior and Redeemer for mankind. One cannot claim a savior without acknowledging that there was a birth and how He was born of a virgin and came into this world as flesh. As the scriptures reveals to us in the book of Isaiah and the book of Micah.
Isaiah 7:13-14
And Isaiah said, “Hear ye now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”
Micah 5:3
“Therefore he shall give them up until the time
when she who is in labor has given birth;
then the rest of his brothers shall return
to the people of Israel.”
And the prophecy was confirmed and revealed in the New Testament:
1 John 4:3; Matthew 1:23; Matthew 1:25; Luke 1:34–35; Luke 2:10-12; Galatians 4:4; 1 Timothy 2:15
1 John 4:3 “and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”
Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).
Matthew 1:25 “ but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.”
Luke 1:34–35 “ And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God.”
Luke 2:10-12 “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. “
Galatians 4:4 “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,”
Timothy 2:15 “Yet she will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.”
As for those who believes, each one of us whom hearts and spirits He had touched and had revealed His Son to us. Who will honor and worship Him Who is eternal and who will worship Him in “Truth and Spirit”. It is those Who then knows to celebrate the Birth of the Messiah the Son of the Living GOD.
For He says in His words;
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” John 6:44
“At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes.” Matt 11:25
“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.” Luke 9:26
Dear brothers, sisters, and friends in Christ, may each and every one of you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas Season. I pray that each of your heart may be filled with the mysteries and wonders of the miracle of this Season. May the love that which the Holy Father has loved us with when He send His Son to this world to give us new life in Him be with us in our hearts and spirit. Which the prophesy was given long long ago and have made manifest to give us eternal life through Him.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
“And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.,” Luke 2:8-14
“35And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 36But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. 37All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
41The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. 42And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven? 43Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. 44No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. 46Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. 47Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. 48I am that bread of life. 49Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. 51I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world” John 6:35-51.
