More Than Meets The Eyes

God bless and be with each of you this day and always

As I was boiling some eggs this morning, I had put some brown and white eggs into the pot and thought nothing of it. When it was done, as I was peeling the shell I saw that I had peeled both some white and some brown eggs and had put them into the container. Then I heard the voice of Lord and He asked me, “Cyndie can you tell which one is brown and which one is white?” As His words were being spoken to my spirit, I then realized that I couldn’t discern which egg was which once the eggshells were peeled off.

I believe in our society and in this generation this day. Sometimes we let our eyes and ego fool us into thinking that one is much better than the other because of our differences, but, inwardly, we are all the same. Yet we would allow our foolish thinking (no offense: I say foolish because ,myself first, we judge without finding the truth about someone) rob us of a chance to get to know one another, and because of that we may be missing an opportunity to meet a life long friend(s) or someone that will be very significant and/or play a very important role in our life time.

I pray that we may reflect on our lives and the situations that we face each day and refrain from judging one another and seek to ask what trials the person before us may have gone through and learn to understand and have compassion. For we ALL have faced or may face some sort of trials in our life time, and we should seek for those who would have compassion on our situations because outwardly we can’t see what goes on within one’s life.

The message you heard from the very beginning is this: we must love one another. (1 John 3:11)
And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (John 13:34)
Do not take revenge on others or continue to hate them, but love your neighbors as you love yourself. I am the Lord. (Leviticus 19:18)
Above everything, love one another earnestly, because love covers over many sins. (1 Peter 4:8)
Be under obligation to no one—the only obligation you have is to love one another. Whoever does this has obeyed the Law. (Romans 13:8)
My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action. (1 John 3:18)
No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives in union with us, and his love is made perfect in us. We are sure that we live in union with God and that he lives in union with us, because he has given us his Spirit. (1 John 4:12-13)
Do all your work in love. (1 Corinthians 16:14)
Be always humble, gentle, and patient. Show your love by being tolerant with one another. Do your best to preserve the unity which the Spirit gives by means of the peace that binds you together. (Ephesians 4:2-3)
To conclude: you must all have the same attitude and the same feelings; love one another, and be kind and humble with one another. Do not pay back evil with evil or cursing with cursing; instead, pay back with a blessing, because a blessing is what God promised to give you when he called you. (1 Peter 3:8-9)
